YOYO's First Visit to the Vet

Technically, this is the second visit that YOYO's ever taken to the vet. Our breeder had taken him a couple days before we picked him up. Obviously, he shows a ton of excitement...

When we got there, he wouldn't get out of the car. He's gotten better at getting in and out of the car, sometimes. This time, didn't even budge. Kristy has to carry him out onto the step. Then, he was ok walking into the vet's office.

YOYO Learns to Consistently Give Paw! Yay!

This morning, YOYO woke me up around 7AM asking to go outside. This has become our regular morning routine. 7AM is considered late. Most times, he will start barking at 6:15-6:30AM. After we got back for our morning walk and play time, I started training him on giving paw again. For the past few days, I wasn't able to recreate the moment I got when he gave me paw the first time.

YOYO Comes Home Video, More Toys and Treats

Today, Kristy and I visited PetSmart to pick up more treats and toys for YOYO. Here's what we bought:

• A Nylabone teething giraffe (large) - we are planning on giving this to him when he gets a bit bigger
• Chuckit! Tri Bumper 
• Chuckit! Zipflight
• 2 packs of puppy wipes
• Northern Livericious Wheat Free treats
• Blue Wilderness Trail Treats - Salmon Wild Bits

The total amount for everything came to about $60 (saving $25 with the PetSmart PetPerks). The toys were Buy 2 Get 1 Free, so we thought we'd pick up a few toys for when we train him to fetch and when he begins teething.

A Visit to Jackson's Work

Today, YOYO visited me at work and met most of my coworkers. Again, YOYO drew a crowd. Everyone was calling him a fluff ball, and he truly is. Here are a few photos taken in the office. Oh, and YOYO left a gift for everyone... a puddle of pee. lol 'bad YOYO'.

YOYO Learns to Give Paw, First Bath at Home

Today, YOYO learned to give paw to Kristy after numerous unsuccessful events by me. It was the first time that she's gotten him to give paw right before delivering a delicious treat (YOYO's started to really enjoy the Pet Bontanics Grain-Free Omega Treat - Duck Recipe). We bought this treat at a local Petsmart.

Tonight, we gave YOYO his first bath home. His last bath was the day we picked him up. Here are some before, during and after photos during his bath :)
